In this collage, the red fiery background translates the emotion of anger that sometimes emerges within us, while the golden birds of this background symbolize the liberation that comes from going within to examine what is the source of this emotion and express it in a respectful and conscious way.
Indeed, our anger can be a very intense and chaotic feeling (echoed by the black lower circle with golden waves and light-blue seafoam), but it doesn’t have to destroy us. No emotion is bad in itself. It just needs to be examined from within to understand its source.
Anger can create chaos in and around us, or be a motor to liberating self-respect and the establishment of healthy boundaries. This is illustrated by the upper golden circle with white birds in flight and blooming vegetation.
What bridges these two approaches to anger is the connection to our hearts where we can go within and examine in consciousness what is unhealed, what needs to be addressed, to transmute or express it in a just and mindful way. This is symbolized by the small red circle with blooming vegetation that bridges both larger circles.
Similarly, the small two red circles with birds in flight, illustrate that liberation through the expression of emotion, done through a connection to the soul and true self, rather than the ego.
From this stance we can express everything with a higher consciousness, which is symbolized by the golden branches going left and right, stemming from the small l red circles, and that are decorated by the flower of life motif (symbolizing Source creator that each of us are).
