What inspired this creation?
This ink drawing was inspired by the fact that, in the end, we all realize that only ourselves can offer us the real inner solace we sometimes cruelly need in our lives.
“Ourselves” is not the ego part of our being, but truly the fractal of Source that each of us are. In this posture, we can welcome Source’s connection in our hearts and soul and not depend on others’ care for us. It is the way to true sovereignty. We become truly free.
The triangular upper branches in plain blue, bring us back to our center, where our true nature and solace reside. The left and right circles with their lovely nature motifs remind us that we all have within us those facets of our soul that take care of us and reminds of our true beauty and sacredness, without the need for other’s validation.
The lower waves of the composition remind us of the challenges and chaos that often threaten to engulf us. However, the wave patterns turn into a series of blooming lotus flower petals (over the right circle), reminding us of the inner alchemy that takes place in us when we go from a victim posture, to a self-loving and self-caring one, in all responsibility and sovereignty.
